The Movie "Vaanam" revolves around five different characters who travel around in five different situations but are destined to meet at one point . Vaanam Starts with Song "who am i" which is performed by the actor Bharath who is a pop singer in the movie.The Opening song is not very much liked by the audiences even though the music director is "Yuvan Shankar Raja".
The Second Character of the Movie is performed by National Award Winner "Saranya Ponvannan" .
She is from a very Poor family and is suffering from debts.She is willing to sell her kidneys to educate her child which is completely cinematic!!!This Part is really making the Movie unrealistic and Boring too!!!
The Third Character is Performed by the actress Anushka Shetty.She is a playing the role of a prostitute in the movie .I don't like this Character Either.Her Main aim is to earn More Independently So she tries to escape from the clutches of her Owner.
Hero of the Movie "Silambarasan" makes this movie come alive with his awesome performance.He is a Cable operator and loves a rich girl.She asks to buy two couple passes whose worth is Rs.39,999 Only.Simbu and his best friend Santhanam combined together goes for a hunt for these couple pass.This part of the movie is loved by all class of audiences.
Thanks to Santhanam for his tremendous sense of humor.Without him this movie would be a "NO Can Watch Movie"
Final Character is played by Prakash Raj and Sonia Agarwal. These two are the Muslim Couple who are the Victims of Violence.Loved the Acting of Prakash Raj and Hated the acting of Sonia Agarwal.
The Song "Evan di unna pethan" is an awesome hit even before the release of the movie.But the Choreography of this Song really Sucked though.
"No money No Honey " song was my personal favorite.Dance Moves in this song was really Interesting to watch.
Back to the Story,Simbu asks Money from his Uncle .He gives them to Idea to Steal and the Hero of the Movie goes around Searching for some rich women.Funny thing is he tries to steal from his lover's Mother.
Then recognizing it.He goes on telling the dialogue "Enna Valzka da ithu" which is my favorite Dialoge in the movie.
He tries to steal and is caught by the police and then released with the help of this uncle.He then turns serious and tries to steal money from Saranya who has got some money by selling her own kidneys.He then realizes his mistake and tells the truth to his lover.Simbu was outstanding in his Performance in this scene.
The Song "Theivam Valzvathu Enge" really Kindled the Emotions .Hats off to Yuvan Shankar Raja!!!
All the Five Characters Meet in a Hospital.They realize that they are under terrorist attacks.As usual Bomb Threats...Hero comes to rescue,Sacrifices his life,Saves other lives.He dies with his last dialogue "Enna valzka da ithu".Loved the Ending.
This movie can be watched once for Simbu and Santhanam.
